Rucksack, alpine boots with ankle support and a good-grip rubber sole, woollen or skiing socks, anorak with a hood (Goretex), waterproofs, cap, gloves, sun glasses (with high-quality UV protection), sun cream, lip protection, spare clothing, water bottle. Safety equipment will be provided by the mountain guide (harness, rope, etc.). |

| How to get there: | Travel to Grosskirchheim Stay on the road to Heilienblut, as far as the entrance of Krass, then follow the signs for Ranach. |

From Ranach, follow the footpath leading into the Gartl valley, then continue to the Winkler See Lake, and afterwards to the Relisch Scharte, where the terrain is somewhat steeper and boulder-strewn in parts. By way of the south-eastern ridge to the summit. Some stretches of the ridge are equipped as a fixed-rope route, some are of moderately difficult, unsecured climbing terrain. |
